Recreation Ground & Trekenning Road Car Park Permits 2020

Mar 13, 2020 | Parish News

As you are aware your Car Park Permit expires at the end of March this year. New improved Permits have been designed with tamper-proof holograms and back printing. These Permits will go on sale, from the Town Council Office, on Tuesday 17th and Tuesday 24th of March 2020, from 10am – 4.30pm. The Permits will be sold on a first come first served basis. No Permits can, or will, be reserved.

The cost of the Permit, from 1st April 2020 – 31st March 2021, has been set by the Town Council at £100 per year, which equates to 36p per day. Old Permits will cease to be valid from 1st April 2020.

Should you change your vehicle before the expiry date of your Permit, a new Permit will be issued on receipt of your old Permit, free of charge. Permits for the Recreation Ground Car Park are limited to 27, so to ensure you are not disappointed, please purchase yours during the time specified above. Once all 27 have been sold, there will be no further Permits issued for this year 2020.

Trekenning Road Car Park Permits, which are limited to 42 spaces, will go on sale on Tuesday 31st of March and Tuesday 7th of April 2020 from 10am – 4.30pm, again on a first come first served basis, at the same price as above.

Permits are non-transferable, and you cannot use a Recreation Ground Permit at Trekenning Road Car Park, and vice versa.

M C Uren
Town Clerk
