Transparency Code: Salaries.

The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 requires a local authority to state staff salaries of £50,000 or more, and to publish its pay multiple.

The pay multiple is defined as the ratio between the highest paid taxable earnings for the given year (including base salary, variable pay, bonuses, allowances and the cash value of any benefits-in-kind) and the median earnings figure of the whole of the authority’s workforce.

There are no staff salaries of £50,000 or more.

The pay ratio of the highest staff salary to the median staff salary is 1.83 : 1.  This calculation uses part-time employees’ total salaries as full-time
equivalents.
